Can we first of all welcome you to Cratus Phanes Clan and hope your stay is a happy one.
Could all new members please read the following:
Clan Charter: Cratus Phanes is a clan run for the benefit of its members. Our goal is to create a friendly atmosphere where members feel relaxed and happy to let their personalities come out, and it is a mark of success if they do. In certain circumstances mature under 21's may be considered for membership, following a trial basis. The purpose of the clan is to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere for members to play Runescape in a sociable environment. Members will be able to share help, advice, encouragement and company to enhance their game play. With regular events and skills weeks being organised to hopefully advance the playing pleasure of its members. However these are not compulsory and members wanting to concentrate on other activities should not feel forced to take part. As a group of adults, rules can be kept to a minimum as we know how to integrate socially and can therefore rely on maturity to prevent some of the problems which exist within the game generally. We do however expect members to observe the Jagex rules and request that if you haven't read them or if you have forgotten them to please read them and abide by them when in cc.
There are only certain areas which as a group of mature people we will realise could cause conflict, therefore we ask the following:
* Do Not discuss politics
* Do Not discuss religion
* Do not harass, discriminate against, or bully fellow members or ask members to join you in order to bully another player
* Please refain from swearing even though Jagex, in their wisdom, now allow it !
We feel that this philosophy will help elevate Cratus Phanes Clan in to one that all its membership can be proud of, as behind those on-screen pixels are real people with feelings like the rest of us. As adults, occasionally topics of conversation or humour may crop up that some feel uncomfortable with. We all have a line we do not cross, but this varies from person to person. Please bear this in mind, As generals our aim is to ensure that the clan runs smoothly and that its members are happy. Occasionally something may slip through the net, so all members are free to contact any of the generals if they have any worries or concerns about the clan, its members, or events and activities. Member's runescape names are of course a personal choice; however, where an offensive name is chosen (this is of course subjective, but sometimes boundaries may be exceeded), the generals may request the member to change their name to something less offensive, or if this is not possible may request them no to join in with clan chat until such time a name change can be undertaken. Occasionally a general may request that you pm them. In these instances it would be appreciated if you could add them to your friends list, and of course you may remove them afterwards if you so wish. All entering the clan chat agree to abide by these basic rules.
The generals of Cratus Phanes have always strived to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in cc to hopefully enhance our members playing experience. We try to keep rules to a minimum as we feel that as adults we are mature enough to act responsibility and treat our fellow members courteously.
However, as runescapers we must observe the Jagex rules whether in or out of cc and I ask that any member who hasn't read these rules or has forgotten them to please read them again and abide by them. We have a number of Mods in our clan and although they leave their crowns at the door upon entry into cc, they should not be expected to turn a blind eye when there is a serious breach of Jagex rules. They are equally entitled to play in a relaxed environment and not feel obliged to log out of cc because rules are broken that they should otherwise have been reporting.
Cratus Phanes is lucky to have so many wonderful people in our clan who are helpful and friendly. The chat is entertaining and makes us all laugh but also supportive when things in rl or rs are not so good. Let's all work together to maintain this and continue to have the best clan in rs bar none
